About
In my artistic practice, I investigate the transformative potential of line, shape, and form through painting, drawing, printing, photography and sculpture. Drawing from my professional background in photography, I bring a unique perspective to my works, infusing them with a delicate sensitivity. Lines become storytellers, guiding viewers through narratives, while shapes and form add depth and invite interaction. My intention is to create art that resonates, inviting introspection and interconnectedness.
Beyond my painting works, I am a commercial freelance photographer. I earned my B.S. at the University of MN in retail merchandising and studied 2 years towards my MFA in photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. That education has given me the useful tools to explore my work more deeply while consistently assessing where I am with the work and where I would like to go.
